I visited with my daughter who LOVED her loaded cookie! I ordered a chai latte and it was one of the best I've had! We visited on a Sunday and it was packed full! Due to the crowding and the layout it was a tad uncomfortable to enjoy sitting inside so we ended up taking our stuff to go! They take your name with your order and bring it out on a cute little tray!
We went here for breakfast. It was crowded but moving. The food and pastries are the stars at this cute little shop. The coffee was a little too strong for me (I order quad expresso drinks at Starbucks). I think the drinks could be improved on a little bit. We ordered a white mocha expresso drink (hot) and a Chai (cold). The mocha just didn't have a lot of flavor other than the coffee, and the Chai tasted like a cinnamon milkshake. And yet...they still deserve 5 stars. The food was off the hook. We ordered a mini strawberry pastry pie, a cheese dsnish with chunks of apple in the middle, and asiago bagels with sausage, egg, and cheese. We ate every bite. We couldn't stop eating any of it. This was a wonderful breakfast and I highly recommend this cute place next time you are in North East, MD.

One of my fav morning spots, adorable interior and aesthetic. Fantastic wait staff and even cuter side gift shop. Perfect place for bridal/ baby showers. And yes they have vegan options. Online ordering is simple! Oh and always try what’s new for bakery goods, you won’t be disappointed!
Mixed review. Shop is cute and our coffee was good. The issue I encountered was at the counter, we were asking about the different scones on the bottom shelf of the pastries that were on display. And I noticed a gnat crawling on one, and looked closer and all the pastries on the bottom shelf had gnats crawling all over them. So coffee was good, yes but I don't think I would go back because I wouldn't trust eating anything from there.
absolutely LOVED my first visit to rise & grind! when i walked in the owner greeted me immediately and made me feel so welcome. she was so warm and friendly and my drink was incredible. i will definitely be returning 🖤
Nice little shop with plenty of seating. Coffee was good, but the chicken salad wrap tasted funny. It had a tiny piece of lettuce and hardly any chicken. I couldn’t place the taste but I can’t it out of my mouth. Really disappointing. My sister’s sandwich was the same. Might go back for coffee but that’s it.
Everything was good. We're from Tennessee and come visit family once a year, and we've made this a stop we come to at least once! It's walking distance from where we stay. The food is always good. We try something different each time :)
